The local activity took place in the sport campus of the University of Verona during a Sitting volleyball training for local youngsters with and without disabilities both male and female. The 13 participants that participated in the local activity were aged between 19 to 40 years old. Some of them had some knowledges regarding sitting volleyball, some were totally blind about it and some were athletes of this sport.

The activity took place on Friday, April 4th in Luserna S. Giovanni (Turin, Italy), on an athletics track. There were 12 participants, men and women aged 16 to 40 in good physical health. Some of them had limited experience in running, others had no experience at all, but all of them had experience in practicing some kind of sport.

The training involved the testing of co-designed activities at the local level, engaging 10 young participants aged 16-30, with a gender balance criterion. The judo session was conducted as part of this initiative, focusing on balance, control, and technique. Under the guidance of a certified judo instructor and a mental health professional, participants engaged in controlled throws, holds, and joint locks, promoting physical resilience, stress reduction, and self-confidence. The session aimed to provide participants with tools to manage anxiety and PTSD symptoms effectively. The sessions were conducted in Judo klub Rijeka.

This training implemented a karate workout session with pads, aimed at improving mental health through dynamic and breath exercises. Experienced karate practitioners shared their knowledge with younger participants, fostering a supportive environment for skill development and mental well-being. The session not only focused on physical fitness but also emphasized the importance of mental resilience and emotional balance. By integrating traditional karate techniques with modern mindfulness practices, the activity provided a holistic approach to improving overall well-being.

We tested the Mindful walking activity with four participants and two trainers. The activity includes social interaction of the participants as well as physical activity and meditation. The activities performed as such varied meditation exercises were a great opportunity to relax and improve well-being. Participants focused on breathing and moving the body to find a balance between physical and mental health. Experienced trainers led the activities and shared their experiences to encourage younger participants to learn.
